Pro and Max are monthly or yearly subscriptions, with no commitment: cancel in one click, and keep your access until the end of the period already paid.

What the Free plan includes

The Free plan is a real trial of the whole product, then a lighter version you can keep using.

1. Your first 1,000 generated words: everything is unlocked. Several styles in the same caption, right-click customization of any word, free placement, animations, sounds — exactly what Pro has.
2. Then: simple mode, unlimited words. You keep generating as many captions as you want, with one style, one animation and the basic placement.
3. 10 minutes of AI transcription to try automatic transcription. Importing an .srt file, importing the captions of your sequence or typing your text never uses credits.

You can follow your trial in the generation bar: 🎁 Free trial: N / 1,000 generation words used. Only the words actually placed on your timeline count — previews, tests and layout work cost nothing.

Note: the free words are included once per computer and per license. Reinstalling the plugin, changing computers or creating another key doesn’t give a new set of words.

What simple mode is, exactly

Simple mode is what the Free plan becomes once the free words are used. The panel tells you before it happens (Simple mode is coming up, then You are switching to simple mode), and the generation bar then shows Simple mode (unlimited words).

The basic placement

In the preset gallery, cards marked ✓ are still usable once the free quota is used up (simple mode). Pick one of them and your captions keep looking right in simple mode — see Choose a preset.

Why it matters: the Free plan never locks you out. You can caption every video you want; Pro is for when you want each word to get its own style and its own place — the part that would otherwise take hours by hand.

What Max adds

Max includes everything in Pro, with 15 hours of AI transcription per month and priority support. It is meant for editors and teams who transcribe a lot: podcasts, long interviews, several clients a day.

How transcription credits work

AI transcription uses credits, counted by audio duration. Before you start a transcription, the import window shows the Credit cost of the selected duration and your Credits remaining. If they’re not enough, ⚠ Not enough credits for this duration. appears: shorten the range with In/Out points, or import your captions instead. Details in AI transcription.

How to upgrade to Pro or Max

From the website: open the Pricing section, choose Monthly or Yearly, then click the button of the plan. Enter the same email address as your free key: your existing license is upgraded and you keep your key. Payment is handled securely by Lemon Squeezy.

From the panel: when the panel offers it (for example ⚡ Go Pro and unlock everything, or See plans), click the button: the purchase is attached to the license of the panel you are using.

After payment, the panel shows ✓ Active (Pro) or ✓ Active (Max) in ⚙ › Settings › General › License (see Activate your license key).

Note: a creator’s affiliate link can give a discount on your first month; it’s applied automatically at checkout.

If a payment fails

Payment failed = Free plan, right away: the panel shows ⚠ Payment failed: update your card to get your subscription back, with your email address. Update your card from the link in the payment email; your subscription comes back as soon as the payment goes through. Your presets, captions and settings are never deleted.

Yes, there is no commitment. You cancel in one click and keep your access until the end of the period you already paid for.

What happens if a payment fails?
